My connection is slow!

A slow connection can have multiple reasons.

  • You have reached your limit and now you surf with reduced speed. At the begining of the next month your traffic will be reset and your connection up to speed.
  • On common hours the connection is slower because you share the connection with everyone else. There is nothing we can do. If the problem persists please contact us.

My connection stopped working!

This can have multiple reasons as well!

  • Did you configure your device correctly?
  • Do you have a new device? If so please tell us the new WAN-MAC address of your device!
  • If you are paying via transfer, did you pay for this month? Was your payment already verified? If not, please do so immediately and send us proof of your transfer.
  • Did you reach your traffic limit? Maybe your connection is just unusually slow.
  • Were you deactivated for violating our user agreement?

Why have I been banned? What do I have to do now?

You could have been banned for multiple reasons. Before you are getting unblocked you have to pay a fine of 6 € unless the reason is a non valid SEPA debit.

  • If we can’t deduct the money from your bank account we will be fined for trying. In this case you have to correct your SEPA and pay the fine from your bank.
  • You have been deactivated for using a wrong IP-address.
  • You have been deactivated for filesharing. In this case you have to sign a cease-and-desist for the GITZ.
  • You have been deactivated because the GITZ detected a virus or botnet on your system. In this case you have to clean your device and install all updates.

My banking information changed.

Please provide us with a new SEPA mandate. You can either:

  • send the new mandate via e-mail support@schunternet.de
  • get the form from our website: SEPA
  • get a physical copy during our consultation hours

How much traffic am I allowed to use?

Due to regulations from the GITZ we have to set a traffic limit for the internet usage. Based on your traffic your internet speed will be reduced. Only traffic to the internet is counted, traffic regar © SchunterNet e. V. 2019 - 2023 | Impressum ll be resetted. Via our intranet you can see how much traffic you have left.

My internet stopped working on the second Saturday of the month.

As every month we reserve this day for scheduled maitanance. This can lead to network interruptions between 6 o’Clock and midnight.
